Clinical Supervision

Sophia Tran is a Psychology Board of Australia approved Clinical Psychologist and Supervisor. She provides clinical supervision to clinical psychologists, registered psychologists and clinical psychology registrars in Australia.

Sophia conceptualises cases from a family of origin, cultural/racial, and attachment lens. She has a special interest in working with interpersonal and attachment difficulties originating from early childhood experiences. Her therapeutic approach is primarily based on Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Attachment models.

Sophia also has extensive experience in the area of problem gambling. In her previous role as Supervising Clinical Psychologist at the University of Sydney Gambling Treatment and Research Clinic, also known as GambleAware Central Sydney, she providing training and supervision to provisional psychologists enrolled in the Master of Clinical Psychology program and staff members. Her clinical approach to problem gambling is based on Cognitive Therapy.
